Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Arvie mobile application ("the App"), operated by Arvie Golf Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an Arvie account. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to register. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One person, one account. Impersonating another person or organisation is not allowed.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Close Account in the App, or by submitting a request through our account deletion page. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.

3. User-Generated Content

Arvie lets you post rounds, scores, photos, videos, comments, reviews, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by posting it you grant Arvie a licence to host, display, and distribute it within the App to provide the service (e.g. showing your posts to your followers).

You are solely responsible for your User Content. By posting, you confirm that it:

• Is yours to share, or you have the right to share it
• Does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• Complies with our Community Guidelines

We may remove any User Content, and suspend or terminate any account, that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice.

4. Reporting & Enforcement

If you see content or behaviour that breaks our Community Guidelines — harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, spam, impersonation, or anything else that shouldn't be here — use the Report option in the App (on any post, comment, review, or profile), or email info@arviegolf.com.

We aim to review reports within 24–48 hours. Reports involving child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) are treated as a priority and, where required by law, reported to the relevant authorities (e.g. NCMEC).

You can also block any account from your own profile menu — a blocked account can no longer follow you, message you, or see your posts, and you won't see theirs.

5. Competitions & Payments

Some competitions require an entry fee, processed through Apple's or Google's in-app purchase systems via RevenueCat. Entry fees, prize structures, and eligibility rules are set out on each competition's detail screen at the time of entry. We reserve the right to disqualify entries that we reasonably believe involve fraudulent or manipulated scores.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Post or transmit content that is obscene, sexually explicit involving minors, hateful, or that promotes violence or self-harm
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or to our systems
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the normal operation of the App
• Use the App to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages

7. Disclaimers & Liability

The App is provided "as is". Handicap indexes, course data, and analytics are provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arvie Golf Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
