Help
We're a small team of golfers and we read every message.
To help us sort things quickly, tell us your arvie username, your phone model and iOS/Android version, and what you were doing when the problem happened. A screenshot always helps.
arvie calculates your Handicap Index using the World Handicap System (WHS), from the course rating and slope of the tees you played. You'll get your first Handicap Index once you've logged 3 rounds, and it updates automatically every time you add or edit a round. On the Scores tab, rounds marked Counting are the ones currently used in your index. Your arvie handicap is for tracking and friendly competition; it isn't an official handicap issued by your national golf union.
Search for it by name first. We add new courses regularly. If a hole's par or stroke index is missing, arvie asks you to enter it while you score, and your entry is reviewed before it updates the course for everyone. For anything else (a missing course, wrong ratings, wrong yardages), email us with the course name and location and we'll fix it.
Tap + then Live Round, choose a format (stableford, stroke play, match play, skins or wolf) and share the round code with your group. Everyone scores from their own phone, or one person can score for the whole group. Scores are saved as you go and sync when you're back on signal.
Check that notifications are allowed for arvie in your phone's settings, and in Profile → Settings → Notifications in the app. Signing out and back in re-registers your device if notifications have stopped.
Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we'll email you a reset link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
Tap the ⋯ menu on any post, comment or profile and choose Report or Block. Reports are reviewed by a real person, and blocked users can't see your profile or interact with you. See our Community Guidelines.
In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Close Account. If you can't access the app, use our account deletion page. What we delete and what we keep is explained in our Privacy Policy.
